Lukasz Kornacki

Standards Authority Director

Lukasz brings a rare combination of operational aviation experience, engineering leadership and years of practical certification knowledge to SALA.

A former airline pilot flying for national carrier, Lukasz understands airfield operations from the cockpit perspective — where lighting reliability directly impacts decision-making first hand. Transitioned into airfield lighting engineering and systems development, leading technical teams, supervised AGL certification and participated in delivery of certified AGL solutions used in some of the world’s most remote and challenging environments.

With over a decade at S4GA (two decades in aviation in total), he has been instrumental in designing, engineering, and scaling solar-powered airfield lighting systems, bridging performance, safety, and real operational feasibility. Additionally his academic background in management strengthens his ability to turn advanced engineering into deployable infrastructure.

Lukasz was selected as a SALA Standards Authority Director for his unique ability to connect airport operations, AGL technical knowledge and certification, systems design and solar AGL technology into practical, reliable airfield solutions — exactly the expertise required to shape the future standards of Solar AGL.
