We unveiled SALA’s strategic targets, defined priority standards, and aligned members on the concrete next steps for advancing solar airfield lighting worldwide.
15th of April 2026 — Session II
SALA General Meeting on Solar AGL Standardization
We presented the feasibility assessment tool and introduced the concept of SALA’s feasibility standards, followed by a discussion of their application to align members on the practical evaluation of solar airfield lighting implementations worldwide.
19th of May 2026 — Working Group Session I
Practical technical forum where SALA members can contribute their experience, review proposed concepts, identify key operational risks, and support the development of a more consistent verification approach for Solar AGL systems.
23-25th of September 2026 | Bilbao SPAIN — SALA Annual Assembly
SALA will host its first in-person global assembly, bringing together its Members—including consultants, engineers, and industry leaders—to shape performance frameworks, safety objectives, and the future direction of solar AGL.
