MANAGING DIRECTOR
RUNWAY LIGHTS
As a trained engineer, I was fortunate enough to start my career in aeronautical maintenance for rotary wing aircraft.
As a pilot for 42 years, I have extensive experience of airstrips across Europe, the US, and Brazil.
In 2022, the opportunity to distribute products for airfields arose, and I immediately embraced the concept of reducing airports' energy costs and carbon footprint by using solar lighting.
The safety of this type of application must not be compromised by this new technology. In the absence of international regulations governing the minimum requirements for solar lighting, it is important to involve civil aviation authorities in order to define the limits of this type of installation. This is what we are doing in France with STAC and DSAC.
I am delighted to be part of this new challenge, trying to contribute as best I can to the development of these new lighting systems by offering my assistance to the association (SALA).
