Antoine is the founder of Almanta, an engineering consultancy specializing in airfield ground lighting systems, airport electrical infrastructure, and solar-powered lighting solutions for remote and island environments. With over 10 years of experience in aviation lighting, he began his career as an AGL specialist on major international airports, developing deep expertise in CATII/III lighting systems, CCR installations, and ICAO compliance requirements.
He later transitioned to the client side as Project Owner in French Polynesia, overseeing infrastructure programs and gaining valuable perspective on airport operations, stakeholder coordination, and long-term asset management.
He has now returned to AGL engineering with a focus on solar-powered lighting solutions for remote Pacific island airfields where grid reliability is limited.
His contribution to SALA draws on this dual technical and operational background, combined with practical experience adapting lighting technologies to tropical environments and isolated locations.
