Alain Fournol

Aerospace and engineering professional with more than 40 years of experience in structural dynamics, signal processing, aviation, and airfield systems.

From 1980 to 1989, he worked as a Design Engineer at Sagem, now part of Safran. In 1989, he founded AVLS, an engineering company specializing in structural dynamics, mechanical simulation, field data acquisition, and signal processing. He developed the company into a team of 25 engineers before selling it to Ingerop in 2021.

Alongside his engineering career, he is an experienced IR/ME pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, and Multi-Engine Class Rating Instructor.

Since 2024, he has also been providing technical assistance to a U.S. company for the installation and deployment of various Airfield Ground Lighting systems.
