Adam Rytter
Business Development Director
Airotec sp. z o.o.
Adam Rytter is the founder and Business Development Director of Airotec Software, a Polish company at the forefront of drone-based airfield lighting inspection and PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) calibration. Having successfully led a €1M+ EU-funded R&D project from concept to commercial deployment, Adam has developed Airotec DeFI into one of the most advanced UAS-based PAPI measurement platforms on the market, in accordance with the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Doc 9157 Part 4 methodology. Now operational at airports across multiple continents. Adam has personally led and supervised several PAPI calibration missions in real airport environments, building up his hands-on field experience across Europe, the UK, the Caribbean and North America. This gives him a deep, practical understanding of how airfield lighting systems perform in real-world conditions. He is particularly focused on the challenges associated with the industry's transition from halogen to LED technology, as well as the gap between current standards and real world LED behavior.
Adam is a regular keynote speaker at major aviation events, including Inter Airport, Airspace World, and the International Flight Inspection Symposium (IFIS). He brings to SALA a unique perspective that sits between the lighting manufacturers and the airports, through an independent, field-verified measurement method that can help ensure solar AGL systems meet the performance standards the industry needs.
